About Me

Hi, my name is Amy and this blogging is new to me so here goes, I'll give it a whirl. I have 2 beautiful daughters who are both married to wonderful husbands and I have 2 beautiful granddaughters, ages 3 and soon to be 6 years old. They are my heart!! I have always enjoyed working out to stay in shape and boxing is my all time favorite thing to do now. I have been boxing for fitness for just over a year now. It is totally addicting and I love it. If you are interested in boxing for fitness check out www.hadleysboxing.com. My passion is my sewing. So much so I wish I had more time to do it. The "Melissa's Bag" you see displayed is the one I just did for my daughter. She put in a special request for this tote bag. I had alot of fun designing this one with her. She is also very talented and has her own business which you can check out at www.offthewallhome.com. I also took a couple of the fabric pieces I had left over and made her a picture frame. I forgot to take a picture of it but she is going to take one of it and send to me, so I will be posting it soon. This blogging is new to me so be patient as I learn more about it. Thank you for visiting.

Arlington in April success

Hello everyone! Well my first time at the Arlington in April was a success. I met alot of really nice people and also received a few orders for handbags. If anyone is interested, I do have some of the ones showing in the picture for sell. I also will do home shows if anyone is interested. I will bring what I have made up and then also bring some fabric that I have and anyone can pick and choose their fabric and then we will design it together. We always have a lot of fun doing these shows. I also will sew anything from handbags to diaperbags to pillows to picture frames and many other items. I really enjoy creating beautiful things!! And, I really enjoy the excitement it brings to my customers!! It is such grat joy to me when I hear them say how beautiful my work is and how well made it is. Well have to go now, need to get my rest for work tomorrow and our monthly Hormone Makeover Seminar we are presenting tomorrow night at our compounding pharmacy. Until next time - Amy
